i've watched him go from 66 to 72% since i got on the computer at 9 pm (almost midnight now).

i'm pretty sure it's all thanks to us and has absolutely nothing to do with all the people posting it on Reddit and blogs... >.>

but yeah, looks like he's a shoe-in, so as promised it'll be a painting instead of a lineart, bitches.

ok. i'm turning this into a contest/drawing of sorts. post this in your journal, link back to mine and encourage others to do the same. after the contest ends on Nov. 30th, there will be a drawing, one person will win a free one character lineart commission from me, creature or humanoid, no background, but if we can get Mr. Splashy Pants to win, i will upgrade it to a finished painting, and i will send you the original, you may or may not have to pay shipping, depending on how much it will be, but if it's in the U.S. i might be able to take care of it. if he wins i'll probably do a couple drawings for smaller prizes, because it will take a lot of people. so do what you can to spread this, post it on your Myspace, email it to your friends, whatever you can think of.

in order to qualify for the drawing, link me to your journal post. make sure it links to the voting page as well as this journal, encourage people to vote Splashy and post it in their own journals so this will get spread around as much as possible. we have time but he's behind by quite a bit, so it's going to take a lot.

in case you're wondering why i want him to win so badly, i'm really not that sure. i just thought it was a pretty sweet name.
