There's already a Pro - Brussels Sprouts stamp on DA, but it wasn't retarded enough so I made this one. You don't need to fav it or tell me if you use it
In all seriousness though, brussels sprouts are one of my favorite foods, but I love pretty much any member of the brassica family (broccoli, collards, cabbage, etc). Lots of people hate sprouts because they've only had them overcooked, which releases a sulphurous compound, making them taste and smell like ass.
On that topic, my favorite brussels sprout recipe:
Take a bunch of sprouts, trim off any old leaves and stems, and cut them in half. Toss with a little oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, lay them out on a baking sheet and roast at 350 until golden brown on the outside, and tender on the inside.
I like to eat mine drizzled with a little balsamic vinegar and/or lemon juice, my boyfriend skips the dressings and eats them on crackers with cheese. Make sure your sprouts are fresh, I made this using frozen sprouts once, it was ok, but not amazing.
